Having Fun with Ham & Eggs

ham.JPGI have been playing with eggs lately and had fun with some ham this morning. After looking and tasting the end result, I thought these little guys would be great for kids… to eat as well as to help make.

I think that these would work well in cupcake pans, but I used a few ramekins I sprayed with PAM.  Then, I lined the ramekins with a maple glazed ham slice, added 1/2 a slice of Havarti cheese, egg, and topped it with the other 1/2 of cheese.  In the oven at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes and voila!  This was a lot of fun and the little bundles were easy to remove and add to a plate.

The creative possibilities are vast. I was thinking pineapple would be fun to add, to give it a Hawaiian feel; fill with some hash browns — there are lots of options! Hope you enjoy these as much as we did!
