Cooking Up a Video
Do you have a older child or teen who loves to cook and hams it up for pictures or videos? If so, have I got a contest for you! The Junior Chefs of America are sponsoring a Webisode contest. They are looking for kids between the ages of 10 and 18 to create short videos demonstrating their favorite cooking techniques. The videos should be between 2 and 7 minutes.
The website doesn’t say exactly what the prizes are, but they Junior Chefs will post videos they like on their website. There will also be a grand prize winner, a second place winner, and three runners up.
Think your kid has what it takes? Well, then, it’s time to get cracking on a recipe and video. Entries are due by April 17th, and winners will be announced on May 11th.
