Easter Egg Recipes


Easter EggsIt’s certainly lots of fun decorating Easter eggs, and they sure are pretty. The kids have a great time, and you really can’t tell them there will be no Easter egg decorating.

Then the days following Easter happen, and I stare at those eggs. They sit there, perky and bright, taunting me. I vow they will not beat me.

I make an egg salad sandwich. I try to ignore the unsettling streaks of day glow orange. Then it happens. I look at the eggs, I look at the calendar, and I get that nervous feeling. And then pink, yellow, purple and blue eggs get dumped into the trash. Such a waste.

Not this year! I’ve decided this will be the year every last egg in that pastel dozen will get eaten.
