Fun with Fall Food

During our last library expedition, my 7-year old daughter took a moment to glance at the magazines geared towards kids. The one that caught her eye was Family Fun magazine; with its inviting cover, I could hardly blame her. She sat down to flip through it, and it wasn’t long before she was beckoning me over, showing me the fun recipes in the magazine. She generally liked the magazine as a whole, and wisely asked if we could get that magazine at home, since it had recipes she might want to try. How on earth could I possibly say no to that?

While we are waiting for our first issue to arrive, I thought it would be fun to check out the Family Fun website and see what they have for fall activities. Of course, they have plenty — enough to entertain our young family every day for two years! We clicked on the Halloween section to see if they had any fun snacks to make and send to school for a treat. There were plenty, but this one caught my daughter’s eye. I am more than thrilled to make this for school, as it is not the usual sugary treat, and beyond that - it’s cute!
