Celebrate S’Mores With Your Kids
I can barely remember the last time I had s’mores, but I do. Our French cousins were here visiting for my wedding nearly nine years ago, and we decided to BBQ outside and celebrate the very American tradition of making s’mores. The s’mores were, of course, instant hits, and fond memories were made.
It’s high time I started celebrating the wonder of s’mores with my 4-year-old son, and Better Homes and Garden magazine is ready with a few unique twists on an old favorite.
Caramel Dream S’more: Set your toasty marshmallow on a chocolate graham cracker and top it with a chocolate-coated caramel drop and a spoonful of caramel sauce.
Snow White S’more: Push a few white chocolate chips into the center of a melting marshmallow, then sandwich them inside two vanilla wafers.
Peanut Butter Twist S’more: Place a marshmallow and a miniature peanut butter cup between two fudge-striped cookies.
