Making Cooking Fun!

I discovered yet another cool way to get your kids interested in cooking (if they’re not already)! It’s called “Cooking Up Fun!” (www.noodleheadfun.com) It’s an imaginative way for parents to combine art and cooking in an activity that’ll surely hold children’s attention, all while helping to inspire and shape their creative skills. Plus, it’s a great way for parents and their kids to work and play together… perfect for a rainy day!

The Cooking Up Fun! kit comes with all the trimmings any little chef would want, such as a high-quality cooking apron that can be personalized and decorated with the color fabric markers that are included, a wooden rolling pin and cooking spoon that can also be decorated to their liking and then used to create kid-friendly recipes for food (or, if not food, playing with clay, Play-Doh or whatever). Also, recipes are printed on a set of plasticized cards so they can be wiped clean and re-used. So if a mess is made, no big deal!

Teach your kids to cook (and cook healthy foods). Cooking is fun, it can be a family activity, and it creates long-lasting memories (who doesn’t have a fond memory of cooking with grandma or mom? I have hundreds)!

Have fun!
