Cooking with Max

Two cookbook mentions back to back. This really says something about the attention that’s being paid to kids in the kitchen.
I recently ran across new cookbook that even a 7-year-old could follow. That’s because it was written by a 7-year-old. His name is Max Nania, and he’s said to have “been creating new recipes for more than half his life.” Who better to know what recipes would appeal to kids than a kid?
The book is called “Cooking with Max: 45 Really Fun and Kind of Messy Recipes Kids Can Make,” published by Little Five Star. In addition to Crunchie Bugs & Cheese, young cooks will learn how to make an Inside Out Ice Cream Sandwich, Disappearing Veggies, Tarzan Wraps, Pirate Pasta, and much more.
Max’s mom, Sienna, also helps out by providing tips for moms for each recipe to keep the cooking process safe and to help turn the kitchen into a fun classroom.
Here’s another way to introduce your children to the wonderful world of cooking. You can order the book directly from the publisher (www.cookingwithmax.com).
Give it try. Let me know what you think.
