					<description>Tamara, the top is not wide enough for a sponge, but a pliable enough baby bottle washer could get in.  The bottles are dishwasher safe as well.  One of the things I love about these bottles is that they don't have nooks and crannies that trap dirt.  I feel completely comfortable just washing them in hot soapy water.  I fill them about half full with hot dishwater, put the lid on and shake it a few times.</description>

					<description>I have been looking at these bottles.  My question is how you make sure you are getting them clean.  Is the mouth wide enough to get your sponge inside to wash it?</description>
