Healthy Web Site
I know we’re all swamped with information from every direction, but one web site I visit regularly (and will introduce my daughter to once she’s old enough to read) is KidsHealth . The site is hosted by Nemours, which was founded in 1936 by Alfred duPont, and is dedicated to improving the health and spirit of children. How great is that!?!

The site is jam packed with information and is really easy to navigate. Actually, the site has three sections: one for parents, one for teens, and one for kids. The kid’s site has a host of topics that touch upon “Staying Healthy,” “Kids’ Health Problems,” “Dealing with Feelings,” and, of course, “Recipes” — to name only a few.
The recipe section is what I’m really excited about, because it has recipes for kids with special diets. In addition to a laundry list of recipes for kids with no need to watch what they eat, you can find many yummy recipes for kids living with cystic fibrosis, diabetes, lactose intolerance, and celiac disease, including many vegetarian recipes.
Check it out! You’ll find a lot of useful information, and your kids will get a kick out of it too!
