I love whoopie pies!! I got my recipe from my mom who's a yankee but has been living in the good old south for over 30 yrs now. I love making them for family, friends and co-workers since they go over well at parties!

Yummy! Whoopie pies are so delicious and fun to make. Try this idea, too: ommit the cocoa powder and place some crushed up peanut butter cups in the batter and use peanut butter icing to sandwich together...woohoo!...what a treat!! :)

Mmmm. I keep meaning to introduce my children to whoopie pies. But I'm afraid I'd end up eating the bulk of them myself... :-)

That picture is tempting though.
