Scrambled Cake

One thing we don’t have a lot of here on Kids Cuisine is restaurant reviews. Our writers tend to focus on healthy and interesting ways of cooking in, which is great! But occasionally, you may want to take the whole family out somewhere nice.

Kim Moldovsky, a very brave mother of a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old, is on a mission to take her kids out to great restaurants in Chicago. She has found nice restaurants with special kids’ menus and other dining options that are relatively kid friendly, even if there isn’t a special menu. She writes all about her eating adventures at Scrambled CAKE.

The site is a great resource for those living in or near Chicago, but it’s worth checking out even if you are elsewhere. Kim has tips for keeping kids happy while parents chat and enjoy their food, and she also posts recipes from time to time.
