Free food
Valentine’s Day is the biggest day in the year for adults to eat out without their children. Restaurants pack the house with sometimes outrageously priced special events, and kids are unfortunately unwelcome. (Or maybe it’s fortunate, sometimes parents need a special outing.)
V-day has passed, though, so it’s safe to take the little ones out into the restaurant world again. Now you can even take them along for the same price as dinner for two. Kids Eat Free is a site that collects information on restaurants that offer free kids meals with adult purchases.
Sites are submitted by users, so there can sometimes be errors. A survey of my area found one restaurant that I know has closed (turned into a Hooters, of all things!). Because of this, you should probably call the restaurant to confirm the free food offer or be willing to risk disappointment. All the listings have phone numbers to make it easier for you.
Do you know of a restaurant near you that offers free kids’ food? Why not submit it to the site? I know other parents would love the information!
